Sarah Prevette

A serial entrepreneur with more than 10 years of startup experience, Sarah Prevette is devoted to building innovative new businesses, and connecting entrepreneurs around the world.

Sarah jumped on the Internet bandwagon early, and has long been a fan of blogs, podcasts, and social media tools like Delicious and Twitter. She began her tech startup journey at Info~Tech Research Group during the first dotcom boom and took an interest in online communities when she built the tween pop culture community Upinion. Currently, Sarah is the founder of Sprouter, an online collaboration tool facilitating knowledge exchange between startups and business leaders.

Sarah believes in taking an untraditional and multi-faceted approach to branding and promotion when trying to build communities, engage audiences and leveraging the full power of the web. Well-versed in the common pitfalls of early stage startups and the tips and tools that foster success, she loves sharing her insights with other entrepreneurs around the world.

Sarah's also passionate about how social media can help social causes – she was the main organizer of Twestival Toronto and the founder behind Social Mastermind, a volunteer run initiative pairing social media luminaries with charities to help causes build online market share.

Sarah is a Canadian who resides in Toronto, Canada but is constantly traveling to startup hubs around the world including New York City, San Francisco, and London.
